Description
In Eastern European black magic legends, black crystal clusters are “containers for witches’ remains.”
A witch who could communicate with butterfly spirits was burned at the stake for exposing the church’s forbidden secrets. Before her death, she wove a choker from her finger bones mixed with the ashes of her pyre, inlaid with a black crystal cluster nurtured by butterfly spirits’ tears, and adorned with the cross sigils of the coven and butterfly-shaped bone ornaments: 7 “fate-reversing curses” are locked in the knots, and the crystal’s core holds the witch’s unvanished consciousness.
It’s said that those who wear this choker may see the phantom of the butterfly ornament flapping its wings on windy nights—this is a warning the witch sends through the butterfly spirits.
The witch’s incantation is carved in the crystal cluster’s cracks: “Take bones as weave, crystal as coffin, and protect fellow travelers from the burning fire.”
The choker’s cold touch will burn on the necks of hypocrites: a good-evil judgment set by the consciousness.
